that video is so fake, its not even funny. The clip look like it was compose from a whole bunch of other "burn out" clips found on youtube, not the actual valet. Different license plate, different background, different setting all gave it away. Secondly, you would know if someone did a burn out on your car base on the smell of burn rubber. That smell stick to everything and isn't easily to get rid off in a few minutes.

I don't trust anyone driving my car period. I have been burned too many times and had too many problems because of it. Everything from scratched wheels to destroyed differentials on previous cars... Absolutely no valets for my car.

HELLS NO!!!!!
I don't trust them with any car.
I bought the car. Maintain it and drove it there. I think I can park it myself.
Why would I give my car (ANY CAR) to someone that's standing by a sign that says they are NOT responsible for Nothing and at the end of the night they will be walking or taking the bus home after they have been practicing driving other peoples cars all night.
We won't even talk about the Seinfeld show with the funky guy running back and forth all night getting cars and standing around waiting for someone to get my car.

BUT the main reason is. Other then cars getting stolen a lot here in Atlanta but my friend use to park cars and I would go by and see him after the clubs had closed and hang out.... Let's just say that was the first time I drove a 911 turbo and when the guy got his car back I KNOW he needed a new pair of tires.
And that was just one of the things I've seen.
I even got a guy fired at a car wash b/c the guy was sitting in my car looking around and playing with my radio.

I either walk to their other lot, Park on the street or go someplace else.
lol and you should see the looks on their face when you ask if you can park it yourself.
Like they got a PHD in parking cars.

Paying someone for something you can do yourself that you do everyday, Really?

And No I won't tell you about a parking guy that was hitting on someone and she gave him No play at all. Turns out that he left her a little gift in her car. Hours later he got arrested.

I do most of the time. Have had mine valet parked half dozen times in two months. Three times at the same place. While I watched the valet guys drive many cars to secondary parking, my car stayed up front near the entrance and sometimes hard parked . Never have I requested my car stay at the "VIP area". Was nice walking out after dinner and seeing my car next to a 997 and C63 AMG.

I posted this in another thread, figured i could put it here to.

I just recently bought a new G37xS sedan and moved to Miami FL. Before i moved i added a GPS tracking device and a dash cam. In the place where i am staying i had valet parked the car a couple times, when one of the guys was bringing me my car i heard an exhaust from a car and seen a black streak fly by. When the valet pulled up he looked at me and said you have a fast car, i replied yes but lets not trash it. I pulled the SD card from the car the next day and had caught them a few times i would have it parked and unparked flying through the parking garage and reving the engine right after starting the car. I have the video proof so if anything happens to my car i can take that to management. A good investment to protect your car and your a$$. not much money and not difficult to install, think about it.

Wrong. Video is legit. Hers a story the local news did on it. Hotel manager even admitted it was true.

I don't even trust my wife to drive the car. I could care less if they did a burnout in it (as long as that wasn't happening often). I'm more paranoid about door dings, interior scuffs and scrapes. If you just look wrong at the interior trim it scratches. Drives me insane, and it's only a 2 year lease at that.

Can you please pace a link or more info on your GPS tracking device and a dash cam?

I guess I have faith in the valet guys, but I'm a gambler

I would never dream of using a valet in Vegas! I have had near misses with them while they area driving a customers car. I have seen how they treat them. No way in hell they will touch any of my vehicles.

I guess I see stuff since I live here but really these guys make six figures by hauling *** to get your car parked and then getting it back to you. They do not treat your car in anyway like you treat your car.

That being said I have used valets in other cities but only with my company vehicles.

Like someone said in the other thread, I park my car in the front, keep my keys, and tip at least $20 (depends on where I'm at). That is in any car, other than a rental.

A friend and I nearly beat the **** out of four valets over their bs (~14 years back).

Like I said, never had any issues, nothing missing, no marks on the car, no smell of burnt rubber, no heat billowing from the engine bay from a mad dash. This is over the course of a long time and quite a few cars. I've heard heavy acceleration down in the underground area but nothing outrageous.
If I had manual transmission I'd be more hesitant to leave the keys. I give the guys a tip at drop off & pick up maybe that helps Hopefully my experience and attitude about Vegas valet won't change, it's just become so routine I don't really give it a second thought.

I have the DR500GW-HD. I have it positioned right behind the rearview mirror so driving i do not see it. Also have front windshield tinted so you can not see it easily from the outside. Only down fall is the card is in the unit itself and can be removed if messed with.
Has many features available with it, anymore questions or if you want pics or anything let me know.
