Used 2011 G37 IPL 6MT Price?

What would you guys expect to pay for a 2011 G37 IPL 6MT with 8.5k miles from a dealership? I'm looking into getting one but I'm not really sure how to determine what a good price is. KBB values seem way out of wack and are suggesting 41k+.

But a G37S from the same year and same miles is so much cheaper. Like low 30s.

The only difference is stiffer springs/shocks, body kit, different exhaust, different 19 inch wheels and tune. Pretty sure that can't cost 8k+.

You're buying a limited production version of a G37, buy an S and build it your way. Or buy an IPL and don't whine about the price, some of the people on this forum remind me of all the cheap b@#$tards on the BMW motorcycle forum. You're buying an INFINITI if you don't like the expensive car, service, and or parts go buy a Focus or something else cheap

Too high, here's a vert 2 years newer with less miles for slightly over 1k more. The IPL is just a trim package. Price a sport the same year/miles and offer 2k more. Or buy this!

@roadrash, kind of funny a BMW dealership is selling this. They know Infinitis worth.

I would say that's a pretty decent deal right there. Somebody took it in the shorts on their trade in is what my guess would be.lol

Or BMW knows it's just a G37 with a trim package while Infiniti dealers think it's gold. Lol

I bought mine at a Ford dealership, picked it up very reasonably. I actually went in to buy a used Mustang GT and left with a G37. I think I'm probably better off this way.

^ I've looked at those recently, fully loaded the 5.0's are more than the G37s!! they've come a long way. Great looking cars now.

Much better off, especially if you want to keep the car more than a couple of years...

I drove by the local auto mall last weekend and saw an IPL sitting out front of a Honda or Acura dealership with $31,195 on the big windshield sticker. No idea what year, mileage, options, etc. though.

There are a lot of factors that go into determining whether the asking price for a car is fair, even if everything looks similar at the surface level. This includes mileage, options, dealer adds, condition, local demand, etc...

A few months back I purchased a new, left over 2011 IPL 7-AT with illuminated kick plates and 300 miles on it. The car was in perfect condition and came with the full new car warrantee. The asking price was $39,990 and I talked them down to $38,500. I happily paid that price (no one forced me) and thought I got a great deal. A few weeks later I found a similar car, used with 19k miles for $34,500 and my first reaction was to question whether I overpaid for mine. I was a bit bummed.

The truth is that the used IPL had some paint work on the front fender and 19k miles of wear, which equates to over a year’s worth of driving. Think of all the things that can happen to a car in the course of a year. I then realized that if I was happy with the deal then, I should be now and that it was worth it to me to pay an extra $4k for a new car with warrantee.

Best Regards,

Michael
