Production number on G37S W/6MT
It took me over a year to find a used 6MT Sport coupe. I just checked on autotrader.com and saw that there are only two available within 200 miles of my home. It seems like they are a rare breed. Does anyone have the production numbers on these cars from their introduction in 2008?

They're not rare everywhere. You must live up north or out in the sticks. They are more plentiful in the south. The same search within 200 miles of me showed 13, although 2 of them listed are incorrectly listed as sport models when they are actually Journeys. At dealerships of course.

I guess I'd be considered for "out in the sticks" in Kentucky, but even 11 cars available in 200 mile radius in your "neck of the woods" can't be considerd plentiful. The car has been in production for 5 years. The local dealership has sold 5 MT's since the beginning of this year.

Here in SoCal it took me about 3 months to find my G with the options I wanted including the MT....and when you find one you might have to pay a little "premium" getting the MT vs AT.

for every 100 G' coupes I used to build at the dealership, I would say only 5 of them were built in a 6mt. it depends on production availability as well. there are certain points they concnetrate on building auto's because they tend to sell faster to the general public.

I sent an inquiry to Infiniti and this is what they sent me:

I have a 2013 sedan Sport 6mt and I live in Nashville. To get the closest black on black was in Florida I believe that was new. So I'm willing to bet for the sedans it's even less than 5%.

I'm in Houston, I wanted to get a 2010-2012 6mt. I think there were 2 in Houston out of ~200 or so coupes in that range. I had to drive to Dallas to find a black one. I didn't specifically want an IPL, but I'm damn happy it was the only car available!
