Awd exhaust different from rwd? Need help fast

Hey I just bought a 2011 g37x coupe and I found a awesome deal on a exhaust system. The company does not know if it will fit the awd or not. This exhaust is the y pipe back so a catback exhaust. They sell these fast and are almost out . Does anyone know if the rwd aftermarket exhausts will fit the awd or not . Or what modification needs to be done to make it fit? Please help ASAP thanks in advance

Yes, there is a difference. Forgot exactly what modification needs to be done for it to fit, but a lot of RWD exhaust systems will not fit our AWD coupes.

They are diff. I bought a RWD fast intentions exhaust. The front pipe connected to the cats will not go past the transfer case.

All you need to do is go to a good exhaust shop to get it fixed though. They can modify the bend and away you go.

From: Framingham Ma,
Not all of them , there would be an issue with the y pipe but on mine Exotic speed I had no issues heck I had like 2 inches of clearance . That's why I was curios on what system it was

If I am not mistaken the coupe exhaust can be modded to fit AWD but AWD will not fit coupe. Correct me if I am wrong. Go to youtube and I am sure you can find a sound clip of exhaust you are looking for on our car. There is one for sale here too. GL!

Anybody ever end up with any pics or description of what exactly needs to be done to modify a RWD exhaust to fit an AWD? I'd like to be able to talk to somebody about the modifications before I order the system. I searched about this particular situation and found no definitive answers or examples.

The only difference is the Y-pipe, mid & muffler is the same on both

On the AWD the two sides of the Y are longer to get around the transfer case, so the split is FURTHER from the engine, it looks like 8-12 inches difference

This should be an accurate comparison:

Anybody know about the Motordyne Shockwave E370G RWD Exhaust? Have a G37xS and wondering if anyone has modified one to fit a AWD system.
