How do I know my g37s coupe has airbags or not ? Help?!!
Hey guys, so Im looking at my incident reports, and it seems like my car had an accident before, I was wondering if the airbags have been deployed but the dealership was like nonono nono. But you know dealerships, they are STEALERSHIPS so I can't trust them. Any body know any tricks to know if your car has airbags or not?
Any suggestions/ feedbacks will be greatly appreciated.
Parents are being **** and asking me too . !
My trim is a 2009 G37S. COupe

I doubt a reputable dealership would sell you a car without the airbags. That could be a huge liability. I think your airbag warning light would stay on if they had been deployed and not properly replaced.
if it concerns you greatly, my suggestion would be to ask for the repair records if available.

If you bought it from an infiniti dealership i wouldn't worry about it. I can't believe an authorized dealer would risk doing something shady like that.
If it was a no-name street corner car lot or a private sale, maybe just to ease you mind. But i highly doubt the bags would just not be there. I'm pretty sure that's one of the things the cars computer monitors.

ya what everyone said. i took the dash trim on the head unit off and had to disconnect the passenger side air bag light indicator, and that triggered the cars sensor to display the air bag light malfunction light on the dash.

I'm sure they sold it with airbags, dealerships have standards believe it or not that if aren't held they are liable. But if you bought it off a buy here pay here and want to check to verify. Then feel your steering wheel airbag, if you can push in on it then you don't have one. Also remove your glove box, very easy and look under the dash, you'll see it if you have one. The sides air bags just pull down on the headliner on the bag so the four tabs pop out and look inside. But again, I'm sure if its NOT a buy here pay here then your gonna have them.
