AT may shift faster but to me its so much more fun rowing through the gears and rev matching. Then again I don't really daily my car, so I've never had to sit through much traffic or has gotten to a point where I'm tired of driving a MT. Never drove a car with DCT either so i can't really relate to that, but do most of us really need it? Sure, it would be nice to have but most of us don't really track our car, so would it be worth paying the extra premium that would probably put the G/Q in the BMW price range? I think it would be more reasonable if they put the DCT in the IPL since its more performance oriented, and just a solid AT in the base and sport. If you want more performance then start modding or get an actual sports car like a Z haha
