how is it like adding brembo decal to stock calipers? IPL is still in the G37 family, its just an upgrade package. Brembo and akebondo on the other hand are two different brands. maybe someone else can explain it better

this is just my opinion, the bumpers arent that big of a deal until someone slaps the IPL badge on their non-IPL g37. I guess its not a big of a deal until the names are involved

My 2c',

The aero kit that is offered by infiniti as an after-market dealer upgrade for the non IPL G is now the IPL' stock bumpers. So to answer your question no people don't look down upon it. I do have to agree with chris3o4, its not a big of a deal until someone slaps an IPL badge on a non IPL G.

There are tons of people on this forum that have put the IPL/aero bumper on their car. I say go for it, nobody will give you a hard time.

OP, you're doing the right thing. Actually, buying a true "IPL" is a waste of money IMO

How so?

I have a 2008 Sport and not an IPL but will wholeheartedly admit the value of the IPL is far from a waste. If you piece out what you get with the IPL, you are well over the difference in premium you pay.

As to the OP, what everyone else said. Just dont slap the IPL badge on it or NOS stickers, etc.
