I like it, but what is all the talk about preserving factory paint? I dont see the point of completely covering something to say you are preserving it. Its like the people who put on huge ugly bug bras and leave them on all the time.. Or seat covers on a brand new car... I like to enjoy my car for the time I have it, I dont need to preserve it for the next owner.

It's like always driving around with painter's tape on your front bumper and hood to preserve the paint on non-track days haha.

Any updates? Curious to see how this looks several months later after the summer.

What's the reasoning behind plasticoating your car? Just curious, not being a SA.

This reminds me of my wife's uncle in NYC that kept plastic covers on his furniture for 20 years to protect the fabric. I used to hate spending the night there and having to sleep on top of that plastic as it would make me sweat like crazy!

Is the plastic coating easy to remove if you get tired of it?

Years ago I was in the Bahamas and many of the cars down there had been waxed but the dried residue had not been removed.

I guess they thought it would protect the psint from the sun, but all the cars looked like they had mud smeared on them.

I guess plasrtic dipping is an improvement; I guess...
