what mod do you regret the most?

just a curious topic I think about often as i go through modding out my IPL.

most people know aftermarket modifications are full of pros and cons (i.e. intakes that reduce low rev range, 20" wheels/spacers that add weight to the car and slow down the acceleration, too much tint that makes night driving dangerous).

so a question for the people here, what mod, if any, do you regret the most on your g37?

Diode interior LEDs.

Wish I went with vleds instead.

Have since rectified that initial choice

Lowering springs. Not that there was anything wrong with them, but everyone here says you'll just get coilovers eventually anyways and I didn't believe them. Well they were right...

Cheap intake off of Ebay! I noticed a huge drop in power, so I pulled it and I'm back to running stock again.

out of the things i've installed so far:
- r2c intakes
- cusco strut tower bar
- hotchkis front and rear sways
- JDM tail lights
- Samco radiator hoses
- stillen grounding kit
my only regret is that i went with the black samco hoses instead of red. i'm a little worried about the eibach springs that i'm throwing on soon. possible update in the future

HID fogs; way too bright, and too lazy to put them back.

Exactly! I have R2C intakes, FI RHFCs, Tanabe axle back, Eibach Pro-Kit springs, 20" Concept One rims, Nitto tires, tinted tail lights, black grill, black fog light trim, Philips Crystal Vision fog light bulbs, and the trunk is completely debadged (Mt. Fuji included)...I don't regret any of it...just worried what else is gonna strike my fancy next lol

I don't think that's how it works, but I lol'd.
I don't think I regret any of my mods. I'm pretty careful and do a lot of homework before spending money on anything for my car, even if it's something cheap. I'm seldom the first one to have something new that comes out (with a few exceptions if I know something is awesome from past experience). I guess I'd have to say my Invidia Q300 exhaust. I don't really regret it, but I upgraded to the Motordyne E370 when it came out. It didn't exist when I bought the Invidia so it's not like it was a bad choice at the time. Just upgraded to something better. I'll likely do the same with my Tanabe coilovers somewhere in the future. When I'm completely decided on what to upgrade to, I'll pull the trigger.
