Yeah, sorry man, I realized that after I posted, which is why I went back for the edit. If you do have any parts that were greased before, you could try greasing them up again in hopes that will help. My guess is that it's not the brake fluid though, but it could be worth a shot to change it. The only way I'd think you could have one pad biting harder than the other would be a clog in the line, just after the fluid reaches the pad (thus, when you brake, that particular pad doesn't release from the rotor). I'm not even sure that'd be possible with how the calipers are made though, but I'm still learning myself -- this one just piqued my curiosity. Good luck man, let me know what you find!

 

Yes, this is exactly what was making noise. Went I took out the pad to inspect and reinstalled it, it's not making noise any more. In any case, I've got new pads and slotted rotors coming next week. I'm bleeding the lines too, way overdue for that. Also thought about getting SS brake lines but...

 

Yeah. I don't know if it's an issue per se. Like I mentioned before, they both need to be replaced anyway. I don't know what kind of pads are on the car now, and if they're even the same kind of pad on each side (you would think right?) but hopefully it doesn't become an issue where I'll have one pad worn down and the other not.
