F***, I've had this on my car since I got it a 1.5 years ago. This explains the monster wheel hop i get while doing burnouts and the brown stains on my diff cover. Any info on if its covered by extended warranty?

Yeah, covered, unless they accuse you of abuse, or suspension mods, like the 370Z guys.

This involves replacing the complete rear suspension crossmember.

Yes, wheel hop is the telltale sign.

BROWN STAINS!!!!

Mines blown too, Im replacing it with a Whiteline bushing.

There's another thread on here (and 370z too I think) about installing a polyurethane bushing rather than swapping out the entire rear cross member. I think the link a few posts up is it. If the car is under warranty, let them deal with it. If not, consider the alternative.

If the cross member does come out, I imagine an alignment is needed too then?

I just put in air suspension, I'm pretty sure it's been happening for a while, would they still cover it under warantee?

Dealer looked at this, said the bushing looked fine. I called BS and got another shop to get it on a lift and call me out so I could see. Turns out it was fine... The bushing was intact and quite dry. Tempted to replaced it anyways, this wheel hop is horrendous.
