IPL Exhaust

Have a chance to get a complete IPL exhaust for pretty cheap, is there really any difference between the stock s exhaust and the IPL, or should I just hold out for the ARK grip exhaust that I really want?

This has been discussed many times. Next time search.

The IPL exhaust is a factory true-dual 2.5 inch exhaust. The muffler portion is also different. Most of the addional power in the IPL models come from the exhaust. I would recommend the IPL factory exhaust over the ARK system.

If you like the canister design, loud, burnt tips, look into the HKS hi-power system. ARK is a cheaper made knock off.

I did search, but did find any specific info, I don't want loud, just want to open up the restrictive stock exhaust. I read that there was roughly a 20hp gain over the stock exhaust, but really there is no info beyond that. So what I mean to say, is there any power to be gained by stepping up from the IPL exhaust to an aftermarket?
