Twice now, I've left my car and locked it using my keyfob and when i got back the gas tank door was open. Today I was staring at the gas tank door and i pressed the lock button on my keyfob and the door just popped up. I couldn't replicate it again after.

Anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution to this?

 

Are u in freezing temperatures? Could be frozen. More info could help

 

its about 30 - 40 degrees here in NJ. Its been a lot colder before and hasnt ever done that

 

the little catch on the inside is probly popping it open. the latch is probly misaligned
