Wait for the 2014 Coupe or buy now?
Need a car now. Want to spend around $350 a month on a lease, no down payment. Might consider putting up MSD, up to $1000.
I know the '14 model is about to come out soon. Should I wait for it? What does it have, or is expected to have, that the 2013 does not? Would it also be in the same price range?
Finally, does anyone know when the new models are coming out precisely? Google was of limited help ("second half of 2013")

You said you "need a car now," so how would you be able to wait for the 2014? Also there's no guarantee that the new coupe will be out in 2014...it might be released in 2015. Nobody knows what features it will have or what it will look like. The only thing you can bet on is an upgraded engine...but exact numbers are unknown.
Good luck finding a G37 coupe for $350 with no money down. To get your payments down that low you are gonna have to lease it for about 6 years or put a ton of money down...neither of which are good ideas when leasing a vehicle. You definitely won't be able to get the new coupe (whenever it comes out) for that low either.

I was reading the buying/leasing subsection of this forum last night and $350 (before taxes) seemed to be reasonable. Who knows. $350 bi-weekly is ridiculous, though.
Dr. Pat, I need a car now but I'm able to borrow a parent's car for a little while longer.

$330 with $3,199 initial payment is the current lease special offered on infinitiusa.com
Infiniti Vehicle Financing, Pricing, and Lease Options | Infiniti USA
Also excludes tax, title, license. Only option on it is "premium package".
With 0 down you'd definitely be in the mid to high 400's.

Considering the q60 isn't due out for several years, I highly doubt that the coupe is going to get any sort of significant redesigns for 2014 or 2015 model years. I think you're pretty safe to pull the trigger now.

Well, if you want a lease, just get a 2013 ipl or g37s. In my opinion 2014 infiniti wont be as fun as these coupes
There is also an option to wait to 2016 for coupe release

I just leased a 2013 G XS. It was nearly double the $350. The money factor was .00051, or about 1.25% interest and the residual was 56%. The lease was for 39 months and they sold me the car below invoice. I put zero down, no taxes, no down payment, just the first month.
Putting $3,199 down plus the taxes, fees, etc will cost you about $4,500 to $5,000 when you are finished (even the base car is $42,000). Rule number 1 when you lease, no money down, rule number 2 is to negotiate and be ready to walk if the price is not what you expect. Call several dealers, even a few out of your immediate area and see what they can or will do.
The new coupe will be out in 2016. You can buy used and wait it out, but $350 per month is out of the question on a well equiped new coupe. You might get a 2008 or 2009 in good condition for that kind of money, but that is stretching it.

I'm picking up my 2013 G37xS coupe Tom. Deal was too good to let go. They ate my last 5 payments. $2200 total out of pocket $389/mo on a 24 month lease. Car has premium, navi, sport, moonlight white with stone interior. I'm coming off a 2010 G37xS sedan which was $3150 total out of pocket $489/mo.

Leasing is a joke? If u have the money why not lease? I drive a brand new car every 2-3 years and I'm more than happy and willing to pay for the newest and best cars that come out. If you can't afford to do this than obviously I would call that less fortunate rather than a "ridiculous joke"
