Rattling sound from underneath the car...worth going to the dealer?

I've recently noticed a rattling sound coming from under my car when the car is idling...especially when it's idling in D (e.g. stopped at a red light). I have the FI RHFCs installed, so is it even worth to take my car to the dealer to see what's wrong with it? I'm assuming that since the sound is coming from the front end, they will likely say that the RHFCs are causing the sound and will not fix it. Not sure that the sound is coming from the RHFCs, but I'm just wondering if the dealer will automatically refuse to work on/fix the car because of the them. Should I just take it to another mechanic or give it a try and go to the dealer first? I tried to check for the problem myself but since my car is lowered, I can't jack it up high enough for me to get underneath the car far enough to find the problem.

You CAN take it to the dealer, if they find the cats rattling, they will charge you a diagnostic fee.

Not sure what the heat shields looked like bc I didn't install them myself. I know I've hit some speed bumps since the HFCs were installed..maybe the heat shields are dented and rattling sound is coming from the vibration of the heat shields against the HFCs?

I had a rattle annoying me for a while. Sounded like it was coming from underneath the car. Told the dealer about it at my next service. Turns out it was the support bracket for the license plate on the rear bumper. Tightened it up, rattle gone.

Sound can fool the most of us who has never heard any other sounds from our G. unless you are out side listening or car raised up or flat head or other tool on the parts LOL
It can be coming from some place else. So just take it to a low car friendly shop local members recommend. GL!

All they gonna say is....." IT'S NORMAL". Polly the cats. I had to get mine's replaced and it's covered under warranty to 70k (I think). Mine was free.
