Which model???

So I just got an '08 G37 from a dealership here in Baltimore. I asked which trimline it was but no one there could tell me. Is there any way to tell without having to go to an actual Infiniti dealership and have them tell me? Yes I realize I should have found out first but I wasn't letting this deal get away in the time it would have taken them to tell me they were "looking into it"

Would probably help if you have some information about the vehicle..and pictures so we could tell you. What does it say on the trunk? G37s, g37x? Does the vehicle have navi/sunroof? Auto/6spd mt?

Welcome to the forum. Tell us more about your can and we can tell you. Does it have a manual transmission? If so, it is Sport trim. Does it have an automatic transmission and any additional options? If so you have a Journey model. Does it have an automatic transmission and also big brakes that have "INFINITI" stenciled on them? If so you have a Journey with the Sport package. Is it completely devoid of all options? If so you have a Base model.

It has nav, sunroof, nothing on the trunk (which leads me to believe it's the base model), automatic trans...

the easiest thing to do is take your vin, call a Infiniti dealership, ask for the parts or service department and just ask them if they can pull the vin and see what model your car is.

was trying not to do that but looks like it might be best to do.

No, if you answer all the questions people are asking you .... we will give you the answer. NAV is not on base models. I assume you got it at JBA, they should be able to tell you everything about it.

I'm sure its not that bad.. i know some sites will also let you pull basic vin inquiry information.. We have lots of people call my dealership ( i work at Honda) and just say i'm looking to make sure what model i have.. its not a bad thing, and its a really quick phone call.

if your worry the'll know more then you want them too, just ask the part department.. they just plug it in the parts catalog and it shows only your model information, nothing else.

Here is a photo of domo dancing to keep you occupy as they look up your vin.

Why do people join a forum for knowledge, ask a question, get the correct answer, and simply ignore it as if others didn't spend their time typing out an answer in an attempt to help them?

It didn't make me giggle. It made me scowl. I could have spent that time actually working or viewing **** instead of giving him the direct answer to his question that didn't seem to be noticed or appreciated.

Its probably a 08 G37 Journey... how big are your rims? 19inchs or not? and see if you have larger break pads in the front...
