It's definitely unique... I have been considering some clear dip for the front to prevent rock chips etc. and maybe black out the lower lip. I wish I could see this in person to get a better idea of what it looks like up close. The idea that it is removable fascinates me.

Once again, how does blue make it look faster? Are you saying that anyone who buys Athens blue G is a ricer?

Athens Blue and what you plasti-dipped are worlds apart. Frankly (in my opinion) the color you picked, I'd expect to see the car parked outside a Pep-Boys .... same with the Lime Green you are thinking next.

^^ I think how you feel about that color has been made pretty clear. It is definitely eye catching, which sounds like was the OP's point in doing it.

I know, the OP keeps posting nonsense (like his Athens Blue comment). We should all put our big boy pants on and not get all uptight and go out of our way to try and convince everyone their opinion (yes, opinion) is wrong.

It's his car, he can do anything he wants to it and that's all that matters frankly ... he needs to not get his panties all tied up in knots if someone doesn't agree with him.

^I was about to post the exact same thing.

OP, nice execution. If not for the overspray, I never would have guessed it was plastidip. Might bring a whole new means of changing the color of your car:

Matte black paint job? $5000
Matte black vinyl wrap? $2000
Matte black plastidip? $600

Saving $1400-$4400? Priceless... well, actually it's $1400-$4400. But you get the point.
