^I guess so. We'll just have to wait until he graces us idiots again. We're so not worthy.

In order to Hydrolock OP would have to have Injen intakes im guessing. They are the only ones that go down into the lower part of the front bumper. I have Stillen Gen 3's and have driven through a monsoon practically as well as deeper flooded streets than I would have liked. Water would have to be up to the Infiniti emblem with Gen 3's. I hope its not hydrolocked. Keeping my fingers crossed for OP that its just a fuse

I dont have CAI installed, and the intake is stock. It was extremely dark while i was driving (around 2 am) and it didnt seem that deep from far away. The car is just lowered, that's about it. The shop i took it to just towed it the Infiniti dealership to get it checked out so I'll find out what's wrong with it today. I hope it's not hydrolocked, or anything too serious. Worried to death.

I hope so too. It could be any number of other things besides being hydro locked. How high did the water come up on your car? There's plenty of electrical things that can be screwed up before water gets high enough to enter the engine through your intake. Did it get inside the cabin?

No, even though my car is lowered the water didn't get to the point where it got inside the car when I opened the door. Only thing i'm afraid of is because of my lack of knowledge in how to handle that situation, the car could've messed up the few times I tried turning it on after it stalled.

Best of luck to you man. I'm sure whatever happened can get fixed. It's probably an electrical thing. I've seen people drive cars out of flooded areas so it all depends on how fast you were going through it and what may have happened when you tried to turn it back on.

Def. keep us updated though.

If the water was not even at the bottom of the door when you opened it then highly unlikley that it is hydrolock. Like a few said, most likely an electrical problem.

The amount of nasty and smart remarks on this site is really remarkable, great site with tons of info but if u have nothing of value to add or anything good to say, people should keep it to themselves. It's one thing to be opinionated but its another to just be a jerk.

I really appreciate the helpful comments, you guys are giving me more insight than the dealership since they still haven't got back to me yet. Yeah the water didn't enter the car when I opened it when I had to push it to the Valero. Keep you guys posted once the dealership and my insurance company lets me know of the damages.

happened to me in my 01 civic si. its my old car b4 i bought my g and my dd now. i have a AEM cold air and it sucked water and stalled in a puddle. Woudnt start after i pushed it out and waited for the storm to pass bout 4 hours later and it barely started so i got the running and ever since it was making a ticking noise. i changed the oil and everything, about a month later the car was running like a bullet couldnt beleive how good it was that day. during my lunch break at work i went out and she blew the bottom end. i had warrenty on the car so i brought it to honda i just removed the intake and put the stock back on, i didnt have my oil receipts and honda didnt honour my warrenty so i got screwed 1500 for a used jdm motor which i bought and installed myself. hopefully infinity will help you im sure our engines arent cheap...
