Ok...I had a 2007 S Sedan that I sold a few months ago. While I had it I had the steering wheel replaced under warranty due to the peeling problem.

I am not as happy with my little BMW as I thought I would be and am looking at coming back to G in a coupe this time.

I am looking at 2009 S model coupe's and can't believe how many I see with the steering wheel trim peeling problem. Why don't people get those fixed under warranty? I saw one tonight where they had somehow just peeled all of the finish off!

I thought that problem had been corrected by the 2009 model--or was that just on the sedans?
