Roof overlay opinion

So I got a gloss black roof overlay done recently to my platinum graphite coupe and want some feedback on it.

Everyone give their honest opinions be it positive or negative and explain. If you think it's rice, tell me the truth. Thank you people.

Not bad at all, but it's tough to tell if there's even a roof overlay in these pictures. I'm sure that it looks fine in person.

By definition, it is rice.

However, it looks good to me. I'm a fan of the black roof even though the trend started because of the all-glass roofs and panoramic sunroofs introduced a while back with other makes/models.

Basically the theme is going to be black and Gray. I'm also not a fan of the debadging thing so not going to do that.

My next and final mod will be putting these gunmetal Vossen cv1 wheels on it when summer comes.

I'm just questioning the roof staying black or going back to stock as it does interrupt the flow of the body.

The Mercedes looks really good with them so I thought I'd give it a try on the g.

No it looks great IMHO....

And the Vossen rims going to look sick with your color G. I have a friend who has sponsorship with vossen and rocked few sets and all look great on a G.

Can't wait for the update!

Doesn't fit the definition of rice. doesn't make your car "look faster". I personally like it. I have almost the same color car as you and I'm thinking about getting my roof wrapped too.

I agree with jesse. Plus a ton of people have their own definition in what is and what isnt rice.

I like it. However, I think it would look better on a white car, more of a contrast than the platinum graphite.

^white also has the disadvantage of looking like an Oreo cookie with this mod.

But yes I agree it definitely pops more on white.

It seems most people here are in agreement that the black roof on platinum graphite looks better than keeping it stock?
