Good luck.

What low lifes, how do you do that to anyone is a disgrace. To bad you didn't catch them what they did is not some prank but a felony. Good luck with getting your car back in order. Hopefully karma bites them in the ****.

Nail polish remover? You guys crazy?

Take some gas and soak a rag in it. Wipe off the paint from your car and wash it with water after. Problem solved.

Dont think you will see an increase, this is a comprehensive claim, not a collision.

Just try not to put to many comp claims, you wont see a bump in price until you have multiple claims.

Good luck again with the repair, at least you dont have to cover the whole cost.

I feel your pain op. At least you got it off the paint. Just last weekend shopping at an automotive store and parked far away and alone, someone still managed to bang their ****ing door into mine causing some deep cuts onto the paint. Of course the ****er wasnt parked next to me when i came back.

No respect for other people property who work hard for it.

its popular now a days to hate rich people. even though you may not be rich, but driving a nice newer car makes you seem rich. and if the sheeple see someone that seems rich, they will either take what you have, or damage it. unfortunately, that's the times we live in.

From my knowledge, acetone eats plastic and most likely destroy the clear coat. And my ride is not an IPL, its actually the Anniversary Edition.

Use the Break cleaner on the headlights...I've done it on the over spray before...I touched up my tail lights to close in the garage...worked fine no issues ...just take some wax cleaner after and it's fine...break cleaner on plastic yet paint is mild...been doing it far to long...

So far I've heard nail polish remover, acetone, brake cleaner, and gasoline. I would hesitate to use any of these for fear of damaging the clear coat.
Can anyone from a paint or body shop confirm what is safe on the clear coat??
