Arghhh!!! Just found a deep scratch!

Just went into the garage to get something and saw one of the rain covers for my vis hood on the floor next to the car. My fear was confirmed when I walked over to pick up and place the cover back on the shelf...

A scratch about 3" long right on the center of the passenger door that's deep enough that waxing will not get out...it's scratched thru the clear coat and I can feel it as I run my thumb across it with a little pressure...

Argh!!! Anyone around the O.C. / L.A. border area who can direct me to a good color chip doc or a detailer who can take this out for me at a reasonable price? I've had fun learning and doing DIY from this great site but dare not get into body work such as this...

Read up on a few threads but the good results were all out-of-state repairs...
I'm really bummed and need some help...

Much appreciated

Thank you imStr for your link and faith that I can fix this...
I've gone ahead and ordered the 3M kit this afternoon.
One question: is there any trick on how I should apply the paint using the paint pen over the deep scratch? How about the clear coat application?
Much appreciated!
