Windshield wiper fluid spray problem.

Hi so there are a total of six holes that sprays your windshield but only 5 of mine are spraying. You can see the sixth one but it has no pressure and just leaks fluid out. When you pop open the hood, it works fine though.. Any suggesstions? I tried a pin but no good..

Thanks

I have the same issue and mine clogs up often. I use a toothpick and poke the holes where the water comes out from and it starts working again.

If all fails take it to the dealership they unclogged mine at no charge so give that a try.

I use the wire from twisty ties, scrape the plastic off and run the wire through the sprayer nozzle about 20 times back and forth being carful not to puncture the washer fluid line then use compressed air to shoot the calcium build up back down the line. If you feel comfortable get some CLR in an eye dropper and drop some drops into the nozzles, let it sit for 5-10 minutes then run the washer fluid through the line. If that doesn't work then disconnect your nozzle tube from the washer fluid pump and blow some compressed air through the line this would require the bumper to be taken off.

All of these steps are still cheaper then ordering a new set of nozzles and washer fluid line since its all one piece.

The main line (tubes) could also be clogged. I had my dealer replaced the whole tubings under warranty.

Sometimes the aim of the sprays get so mis-aligned they shoot towards the sides or over the roof of the car.

Nissan/Infiniti FAILED on this one. They clog up so easily compared to other cars.
