Went from a 2003 G35 6mt sedan....
Bought a 2013xS Graphite Shadow with Graphite interior. It has premium and navigation package and only 18k miles. I paid $28k from Infiniti dealer in Chicago area. Car purchased on 9/26/15

I took a chance on a 2009 G37X with 131,000 miles for $10K last December. No issues at all in 10 months of driving it, put about 10,000 mile on it in that time. LOVED the car.
I got hit from behind a month ago. Estimate to repair was $12,400. The car was totaled, obviously. Air bags did not go off.
They offered me $16,000 to surrender the car or $12,400 if I kept it. The damage wasn't that great in my eyes, so I decided to keep the car and fix it. It is costing me $2K in parts and $2K in labor to get it fixed by a 'mom and pop'' collision shop.
So, the insurance company is giving me every penny I paid for the car originally, the car itself and $2,400 towards the $4000 repair bill.
When it is all said and done, I have all of $1600 invested into this car.
Not a bad deal....;-)
