2008 G37s Warrenty

Hi everyone,

The factory warrenty of my 08 G37 is about to expire soon. I'd just like to know if you guys recommend an extended warrenty on our cars.

Currently the car has approx 60,000km's on it. Is there anything I should watch out for? Any inputs and comments are greatly appreciated!

I would get it. But when you do. You should shop around. I contact 3 different dealers to get the lowest price and they been going lower to beat the other dealers i called. So far i had my shifter go out on me. Thats an $800 repair. I am hoping to to get most stuff changed out during my extended warranty.

can you still purchase extended warranty after your factory warranty has expired?

Yes you can. When your factory warranty has expired and you wish to purchase an extended warranty, you have to bring the vehicle in for inspection to determine there is no pre existing damage. If you're still under factory warranty it's just a little easier, you can do it all over the phone, no inspection needed.

Just something to think about, if you do want an extended warranty, the sooner you commit, the cheaper it will be. Certain milestones as far as mileage goes determines pricing. Once you hit 50,000 miles it takes a pretty good jump in the wallet damage department lol.
