Wow, sorry to see this. Insurance should cover it. I would stay on them and would try my best just to have the car totaled. That looks pretty bad. No telling what may happened down the road.

Water that high... hopefully freshwater not saltwater.

Yeah, I would definitely stay on them to total it. A flooded car will never be the same. And there will most likely be latent problems that won't show until later in the car's life.

yeah its freshwater but still either way the car looks terrible

yeah im pushing for it to be totaled... the bodyshop was closed yesterday and today so tomorrow they're going in and stripping all the interior and looking at all the electrical, transmission, etc.... and then they will let me know what happens.

I was at the dealership getting my car serviced about 2 weeks ago. I went to the back to speak with the tech and saw a g37 with all of the interior sitting outside the car. I asked the tech what happened and he said the car got caught in high water so they're changing the entire interior. Im not sure how high the water got in that g but it definitely wasn't totaled.
