I had a hit in front fender, door, hood demolished.
15k in damage, wish the ins totalled it instead.
You gotta put up a fight, they won't total it unless your at the 75% range as you mentioned earlier.
Once they see its not cosmetic, your front end will never be straight.
Good luck with getting all the cash from thoose crooks(insurance co)
Glad your ok, that's all that matters, the car is replaceable, you are not.

ALSO I agree with the above, get it totaled bro, Push for it, Cars are never the same after such a big accident, was the Frame hit also? I would think the airbags coming out themselves are expensive to replace, if they do try to repair Ask for Original parts only not some Aftermarket stuff, how long have you had the car?

GOOOOD NEWSSS EVERYBODYYY! (/Professor Farnsworth)
Car was declared totaled!
We discussed the price, final dollar amount issued: $23k
I paid 19k for the car
Already looking at other 37s, thinking I'm going to go back to a 6-speed this time.

i know i finally have time to take my husband out to teach him how to drive his car im so worried he would even scratch a rim...but that is just me... if he totaled my baby .. well we wont go there murder is bad... j/k
i HAVE to let him drive it as he makes my payments.. *kicks a cat* BUT i told him if he is going to drive hes got to take it out an LEARN to drive her... i recommend taking your new one out on an empty road or parking lot... good way to learn.. without replacing the car... they will often even offer aggressive driving courses at many of tracks for $200-5k depending on what your after... AND... the track.. those.. are just plain fun though...

Picked up an '08 G37S 6MT in silver yesterday; I'm loving it!
Coming only from driving an Acura 6-speed the transmission is very different, albiet very smooth. Clutch is quite snappy and seems to have a very specific engagement point.
