Different dynes read differently. You could probably find a dyno if you wanted that would state you hit 350 pretty easy. Dyno numbers mean nothing except to compare before and after numbers. They are a good tuning device for sure.

Absolutely not. If you were speaking of a Vette in amongst other sports cars, I could agree. BMW, and the rest of the German brands are anything but a value-performance proposition.

As for buying a car for it's "specialness", well that's inherently a dumb thing to do, because if the sight of your model car on the road being driven by other people upsets you...you have some issues at play you need to address.

Around me the G is quite common, but so are BMWs (I cross at least 50-60+ per day), Audis (30-40 a day) Porsches (20-30 a day), the list goes on.
I now see an average of at least 10+ Genesis Coupes per day, it's becoming the new Civic.

If I see so many others driving the same car as I do, well I guess that means Infiniti must be doing something right.

If you expect a Porsche when you buy a G, you're in for disappointment.
If you think BMW is the cat's meow, then go buy one and be happy.
If you crave speed/track cred, shop elsewhere.

Drive what makes you happy.

All that being said, I'm very much looking forward to seeing what Infiniti does with the next-gen G. There's lots of room for improvement on an already excellent car, so the reveal should be interesting not only from an aesthetics point of view, but with regards to the driving mechanics as well.

Any info on exactly what the partnership between Nissan and Mercedes will offer?

Yeah that's why I said legit dyno sheet. The mustang dyno's are known to give out low numbers, don't want to see a sheet that said something like igiveoutthebestdynonumber company.

As of right now i am doing everything on the Dynopack. That is where i did my base reading after a few mods and tune just last month
