Whats the most I should pay...

I recently just ordered lowering springs and Greddy Ti-C exhaust and I can't do the install my self so I'm taking it to a local shop on monday. What's the most I should pay to get both things done?

Most people dont understand that getting springs installed takes times and they will charge alot of hours. The average shop will charge 6-8 hrs to install and allignment of the springs...(atleast in canada) insane i know, exhaust should run you between 1-2hrs. So dont be surprised when they quote you 8 hrs to do both....

Honestly, the rear springs will only take 30 min and thats pushing it, they are separate from the shock assembly and are extremely easy to change. The front springs will take 30min to an hour depending on the installer and if he is familiar with the car. The exhaust if its just a rear section will take 10 min if it's full cat back will take 20min. . . Ive changed my springs and exhaust multiple times by myself with no lift and no air tools and with a lift and air tools it is easy. If you are un-informed they can charge you whatever they want and get away with it. $250-300 should be the absolute most but you should do it yourself and get to know your car so you can stop paying people to take simple nuts and bolts on and off. Simple socket set, spring compressor, and a makita and you will spend the same money and have the tools to do anything you want to your car within reason

Where are you located?

The rear springs as it has been said you can do by yourself. Its veeeeeery easy. Lift the car, take the wheel off. Drop the bolt, take stock spring out and put new one in. Put it back together The fronts is where you need to use the compressor. Give it a try with the rearsat least.

+1 to doing it yourself and ending up with tools for future mods/home projects! You'll also get to know your car better.

+1 on this too. I found from own experience that the rear springs are easy to swap, saw it while they were being intalled at the shop. But if the springs scare you a bit, try the exhaust which is literally just bolts and removing the muffler from the rubber mounts. Unless it's a full cat-back, in that case, it'll only be more bolts, a few more rubber mounts, and a metal bracket. Piece of cake. I swapped a whole cat-back exhaust in my own garage with a friend with a jack, jack stands, and some air tools. Air tools are a must, especially if your existing bolts are beyond tightness limits! (Happened to me)

Save the extra install money for other mods!

The greddy exhaust isn't that hard to install yourself. I didn't know much about cars and this was my first mod i had a good friend of mine James do it for a few bucks and it was done well. The only problem you're going to have is the black emissions box on the right side. Just take the cover off after much debating and a ton of crap we did to try and get around it we couldn't so i'm saving you all the effort.

We did it with out a lift. As far as springs go i have to get those installed also so i guess we're both on the same track ! (they are sitting in my patio )
