First "real" mod, just installed a HKS CBE
Thanks to member, evo2nr, for giving me a great deal and something I couldn't pass up. Just bought the G a couple of months ago and promised the wife that i wouldn't mod it until next summer. Oops. Like I said, couldn't pass it up. The fitment of these are great, and I love the sound.

I'm glad you went with the "Innovation over Imitation"

Congratulations on your HKS! How does it sound man? I bet you were so anxious to install it and hear it roar!
I also just purchased one from Darryl865, and it will arrive tomorrow. Cannot wait to install it!
I know there are a few sound clips on youtube (Darryl has the one he sold me there...lol), but do you have a video of yours? I'd LOVE to hear it!
Congrats again!

I do have a video Jon, but it is an iphone video. Don't think i can upload the 60+MB file to youtube. All i gotta say is, it is great. I mean i did like the stock VQ growl, but this just makes it deeper and all around way better. Completely happy with it.
BTW i was comparing it with the Motordyne E370. I'm certain that it may not be as loud, but with some of the fitment issues i have been reading about, i'm glad i went this route. Easy to install (especially with my lift), and tons of adjustment on the rear section as well as the tips.
No regrets here!

What do you mean by the exhaust having tons of adjustment on the rear section as well as tips?
Is there something else that can be adjusted at the rear besides extending the tips? The reason why I'm asking you this is because I have 4was in my car and if you say there are ways to adjust it at the rear, than it may be good news for me, as I won't have to do too much to get mine to fit.

I meant for the angles and side to side for where the tips fit in the round opening of the the rear bumper cut outs. Unfortunately, the piping is pretty tight by where your 4was device is on the passenger side piping. I can take pics later today.

Another pic

Nice How far out did you have the tips extended ?
They are pushed almost all the way in (towards the front on the car)...i didn't want them sticking too far out.

Here is a pic that shows the underside by where the 4WAS actuator would be.

Thanks for the pic! Is it just me, or the passenger side exhaust is lower than the driver's? Because that's what that one forum member that made it fit had done. He simply stated he "fixed it" by making it "hang lower."
But anyway, I don't want to steal the OP's thunder, I already started a thread about making the HKS fit a 4WAS G37, so I'll continue over there once I get it installed.
Thanks though!
And again OP, sweet exhaust! Mine just got here today and it looks SOOO good!
