Black Chrome Midnight Grille
#51
I did not wetsand.
Since its been awhile since I've been to this thread, figured I'd update.
Its been about 10 months and the grill has zero nicks in it. It has faded somewhat. Could probably be re-done, but I think I'm moving away from the black chrome, and just gonna paint the grille gloss black. I've found that if you do want to remove the black chrome, you can strip it with duplicolor prep spray... Its really weird, but you can spray the prep spray and wipe the black chrome off.
As for my fog light rings, I went back to chrome temporarily, stripping off the black chrome with the prep spray and a paper towel. The fog rings had a pretty good amount of rock chips so it was time for something else. I believe I'll be wrapping the rings in CF.
