Restyling my Car for the Third Time with a Matte Wrap

Hi All,
I just wanted to share some photos of my G 37. I'm going to wrap it Matte Dark Grey soon. Luckily for me I work for metrowrapz.com in South Florida so it's not costing me much. I wanted to originally wrap my car to protect it from the sun down here. Infiniti paint jobs are not great to start with, my brand new cars paint was spiraling already and that drives me nuts, also I park under a tree and the bird crap and tree sap was also costing me alot of money to constantly wash my car to keep it from ruining my paint. I also wrapped my grill matte black, and did my brake lights with the tint so I could remove it when I felt like it.

I hope I inspire some people to do this to their car, I am really happy with it, and the best part is nothing is permanent. The only permanent thing is that I painted my badge to match my car, and now I wish I had it in chrome so I will probably have to but a new badge.

After I wrapped my car matte black, the stock rims had to go. These rims came matte black, but were 22's which was good cuz I didn't have to get springs, but bad because I couldn't stagger the front. They also seemed to make my car go slower which is normal with larger rims.

Unfortately, I hit a stone some idiot had on the side of the road and bent my rims on the passenger side pretty badly, luckily a friend had some Lexani's for sale that he had on his g 35. Now that I have chrome rims, I am going to rewrap my car matte dark grey to go with my new chrome rims and accents. I also wrapped my interior carbon fiber to protect the interior panels that I was scratching with my watch. Ignore the ashes and scratches, I've had it for a year and the scratches come out with some heat.. at least it isn't permanent damage to the brushed panels like on the door.

More pics of what my car looks like now.

If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them, or check out metrowrapz on facebook.

I'm really happy with the grill wrap, everyone knows how expensive the grills can be, especially when you are looking for a matte black one. With a wrap you can match your cars color exactly for around $250

I'll post pics after I wrap it matte dark grey. I was actually offered by 3M to wrap my car in chrome but there is somebody local with one already, and I think it's a little over the top, but it does look sick. We did Flo-ridas bugatti in chrome and it looked amazing.

If anyone has any pics of their G-37 wrapped in any color I'd like to see it. I haven't seen a dark grey one yet. I'm also looking for a set of springs so if anyone is selling any in south florida please hit me up.

Looks much better now without the 22s. Also like the silver wheels much better too. It needed some contrast IMO.

$250 to vinyl a grill sounds a bit steep when a professional paint job can be done for half the price.

not a fan of matte black(looks like those ghetto ricers who spray paint their hood/trunk and pretend it's c/f hood/trunk), but if it was wrap in glossy c/f like how you did for your interior i think it would look sweet.

I agree...

To the OP, honestly I don't think the G is an exotic enough car to really pull off the matte look. BUT I have to say that you did a great job with it.

One thing. To ME PERSONALLY, matte screams, "my car is so fast, I don't even need paint" lol. So you gotta get 500 horses in there, man! HAHA!

The matte fad needs to end soon, it only works on some exotic cars.

It works on lambos because of all the angles...e.g. stealth fighters.

I don't like it on curvy cars.

To each his own though (glad you're happy with it).
