left exhaust tip crooked?

I had my 2011 g37x coupe parked next to a friends and noticed that my left exhaust tip is crooked and is not even. it looks like its bent a little down and to the right. would the dealership fix this?

Yes there is a TSB for this. In the TSB section.

Yes I remember seeing it some where but lazy to dig around and search. Take it to the stealership and they should fix it for you.

I don't know if there is a tsb for it but if you search around, you'll see a few have encountered this (not just on our cars but any car). It is just a matter of adjusting the muffler hangers. If you're not comfortable DIYing that, the dealer should be able to do it for you. However, if you read some of the threads around here, some dealers replaced the exhaust because they weren't smart enough to know that these can be adjusted.

Any decent mechanic should be able to do it....and DIYing it isn't tough either as long as you have something to heat the hanger (some can be done without heat but I'm not sure about ours and how thick/strong that hanger is.)


TSB or not, the dealer shouldnt debate this with you (assuming you are under warranty). If they do, just have a walk around the lot with them and show them that most of the other G's don't have this (there may be a few but...)
