Quarter Panels

Here's the my issue, my rear quarter panels to me do not match the from fender and I know that they make the front higher because the front wheels need to turn. But is there anyway to make the rear quarter panels matche the front with out doing over fenders and fender rollls? Also make it look stock as well? Pretty much I'm asking is there a way to make the rear quarter panels like the rear quarter panels on a 350/370z? (High) for more wheel fitment?

I think he's asking about the reverse of a drop..or a raise, in the back.

By having a body shop cut it, bend it, and reweld it how you want it in a different shape.

I guess you'd call this "leveling" like I did on my Tundra, increased the fender gap in the front to be closer to the rear. But that was a truck...

I'm really not sure why you'd want to do this, if you want it to be more even how about putting lowering springs in the front and leave the back stock. At least that way you can take them off instead of doing permanent body work.

I've never had anything like this done so no. Check on our strictlygs.com forum, there's a few threads by members doing builds on various vehicles that can probably advise you on good local fabricators.

Dont do it OP.....just get springs in the front if you want to level out your gap, vs doing permanent body modification

Contact Kalvin (Maui) over on G35Driver. He had his sedan modified to fit wider wheels in the back, i'm sure the same shop can help you with your issue.

I don't believe he is talking about the fender gap. The front fenders are more, "flared" than the rears. He is asking about changing the shape of the rear to "flare" them out more to match the front fenders overall shape, thus also allowing him to run wider, more aggressive rear wheels. OP you will be the first I know of, but I am sure it can be done. Find a good body shop that does custom work and keep us updated.
