It's not like the Journey is not sporty to drive. I would say that it is still as sporty as a g37S sedan- aside from some options not available on the journey- the S just takes it to a slightly higher level, particularly in it's handling/ steering feel.
But not everyone wants a sportier feel. Some people just want a good looking coupe that they cab drive a little spirited sometimes. The Journey does that and more.
The Sport gives you more of an enthusiast look and feel. The IPL accomplishes that a little more.

But like you if I were to upgrade to Brembo BBK and stuff. I would of just gotten a Journey and save me for the BBK.

Before I bought mine I drove a 08 Journey with LSD.....

Was a factory LSD? Cause You can't get LSD without getting a sports package.

Well it was by the salesman's word which most of the time doesn't mean much. When I got on it from a stop it seemed to take off in more of a straight line than the other Journey I drove that day. It was used and when I first started looking at them so who knows.

I think this is all personal opinion. I have taken a few trips to NM where I drive 10 hours one way as well as a couple of 12 hour one way drives to Colorado. I love them and have never felt so good after a 10 to 12 hour drive. I would not even think twice about doing it again. Oh and my wife agrees so she just said.

Yeah.... Only the Journey with the Sport package has LSD- which is what most of us refer to simply as a Sport- or the 6MT which is only available as a Sport.

Honestly, ^that was my main reason for getting the Sport. Followed closely by Akebono brakes. I refused to get an automatic, while at the same time I really wanted the brakes -- I turned down a 2009 Nissan Z Roadster (6MT) because it didn't have the Akebono brakes.

I've got a '09 base and I believe I have LSD on mine. In other words both rear tires try to grip at take off and trade back and forth until both lose grip or grip is gained by both.
Any way to know for sure?

According to this page, LSD is an option on the Journey non sport edition and standard on the sport edition. I'm gonna see if I can look up my VIN and see if I have it as an option on my car...which according to what I'm reading is a Journey model.

Its all a matter of taste, but I went with the Sport. i personally like the stiff ride and all the other sport-tuned features the other G models don't offer. Like most folks have stated, the seats in the Sport can be quite stiff and take a bit of getting used to, but in my opinion, they seemed to soften a bit over time and i have them positioned just right now, so I love them. Your passengers may not like them, but who cares, your the one doing the performance driving and enjoying the thrill of your G!
