Front bumper mods

Okay, when I bought my G (08 G37s 6MT) the only cosmetic down side was a dent the original owner put in the front bumper just next to the air damn on the pass side. It's not that bad as the plastic underneath is not deformed. I am planning on removing the bumper soon (I want to add some carbon fiber splitters and fog lights) and I am looking for advice on methods to reform the plastic (push out) the dent). I am assuming they are plastic so some light heat applied to the back side of my bumper will make it a bit more malleable. Again any input is appreciated.

A heat gun from the behind may be able to help a little. It really depends on the deformation in the ABS. Problem is, you may do more damage than it already it has. The heat may hurt the paint and like i said it may warp it worse than before. You may want to try a pro bodyshop thats reputable maybe. We had a car get backed into on the lot today and its impressive what a good body shop can do.

Can't seem to upload pics

I'm not sure what I am doing wrong but I can't get a JPG pic to upload The dent is about the size of a golf ball and bends the surrounding area in a bit. I tried to test fit a pair of carbon fiber splitters and the un damaged size was good to go but the damaged side needs to be flush in order for the splitter to sit right I will TRY to see if I can coax it back to it's original shape LIGHTLY....worst comes to worst I will have to get another G37s front bumper, damn it
