Once again "2) the manufacturer did not provide an add-on bracket or other means of displaying the front plate." Just because there is a add-on doesn't mean you have to have one. Than if that was the case all cars should have a front plate. So I would personally drive without one and show them that the manufacturer didn't provide me with one with the car when I got it. If I get pulled over I would tell them they have to make the law more specific. What qualifies what car can get a front plate or not, cause I been to vegas and I've seen a lot of cars like GT-R's, 599, DB9, all without a front plate. So if it was required that means they would have to have one to.
Gibberish.

In Nevada, if a Nevada cop writes a Nevada resident with a car registered in Nevada a no front plate ticket in any Infiniti and that person contests that ticket in court with the "defenses" you have gone on and on about, they will lose. I'm 100% sure of this.
End of story.

Dang...

Well care to explain then what it means if the manufacturer doesn't provide you with a bracket? I mean I've seen many cars once again at my stay in vegas with cars not having front plates. Not sure if they gotten tickets or not, cause here in Texas they just changed the law about front plates because people use to use the excuse that drilling a hole in the front bumper devalues the vehicle and people have been winning with that case. So now in TX its required no if's and but's about it, but I drive without one because the cops around my city is pretty cool about it. It's just state troopers that douche bags about front plates.

In no means am I saying you should break the law or drive without one but trying to see what the law is like, cause I think it would be very unfair for 100k cars to drive without a front plate while other cars have to drive with one.

In this case, it means if the manufacturer doesn't even make one for the
particular car in question.

The wording "doesn't provide you" can be a bit confusing sometimes.

Just think of "doesn't provide" as meaning "doesn't make one"

Hope this helps.

Yea yea I drove around for 12 yrs in my truck with the front windows tinted and no front plate. Everything was great until a CHP pulled me over on the fwy to give me a tint ticket and then saw the missing plate and added it too.
I keep all my cars legal now, don't need to waste time getting tickets signed off then waiting in line at court to pay fines.
