Here is my licence plate...I would hate to put any holes on the bumper so I just drilled 2 holes on each side of the plate and used two plastic anchors hooked in the mesh...just have to be carefull not to touch the bumper..hope it helps

Check your DMV with a front plate because when I googled if front plates were required for Nevada this is what I got on the search. So if this is true than say the dealership didn't provide you with a front plate bracket.

The DMV website says: Front plates are optional only if 1) the vehicle was not designed for a front plate and 2) the manufacturer did not provide an add-on bracket or other means of displaying the front plate.

CONFIRMED.

Nevada License Plates

Since you don't have a front plate bracket you don't need one. Now if you bought it the car used, 99% of the time it comes for a front plate bracket but if it doesn't have one you don't need one.

Useless Post Debunked:
"You must display both plates if the vehicle is designed for a front plate or if the manufacturer offers an add-on bracket or frame". (NRS 482.275)

Just because the "dealership" didn't provide the bracket doesn't mean you then don't have to have a front plate installed. The manufacturer (Infiniti/Nissan) "offers" one (it's available) so it's up to the vehicle owner to obtain one and use it to display a front plate.

Yeah so the front plate law is very open and not specific. The DMV which is the website says if the Manufacturer provides a front bracket meaning it came with the car.

Once again "2) the manufacturer did not provide an add-on bracket or other means of displaying the front plate." Just because there is a add-on doesn't mean you have to have one. Than if that was the case all cars should have a front plate. So I would personally drive without one and show them that the manufacturer didn't provide me with one with the car when I got it. If I get pulled over I would tell them they have to make the law more specific. What qualifies what car can get a front plate or not, cause I been to vegas and I've seen a lot of cars like GT-R's, 599, DB9, all without a front plate. So if it was required that means they would have to have one to.

Plus OP said the bracket was in the trunk when he bought the car, so it was provided to him.
