^^^But thats no reason NOT to buy them. Not worth the gamble.
Anyways. No need to jack dude's thread on to buy or not to buy wheel locks.
Hopefully everything works out for the OP

OP, what kind of access does the underground garage have?
is there a access gate? does it have shared space with public parking? can ppl walk in there from the streets?

You are correct.
The underground is for owners only, you need a fob to get in, but people can sneak in behind another car. There are cameras in the lobby, I thought there were some by the garage entrance too. The super is reviewing the tapes but hasn't seen anything yet.
I'll definitely be getting some wheel locks and I'll look into alarm system that can sense angle changes.

Man sorry for your lost. Same thing happened to me about a month ago. Luckily my insurance reimbursed me for the total about with new TPMS. The only thing the took off 10% for the tires as they could not know how much tread was left. Just look forward to some nice aftermarket wheels if you wish to go that route. Good Luck with everything.

Wheel locks definitely help because it makes it a pain in the *** for them to remove your wheels. If they have an unlimited amount of time then obviously it won't help, but even if you put one on each wheel it slows them down. Better safe than sorry, and that way at least you tried to secure your wheels and just got got, you couldn't help that. You can get wheel locks at any rim place, luckily they threw them in for me on my rims, but that's basically what the rim dealer told me.
