Same here, trunk is exactly the same as it was before without the spoiler.
So the spoiler weighs nothing? I don't think Nissan would have spent the money including them if they were not needed. To each his own ... I'm glad I have them as the spoiler DOES have to add some weight and perhaps over time the stock ones will weaken and not perform as desired.
I just firmly believe if you have a great looking, expensive car why run the risk of something not be exactly right where fit & finish are concerned and cheap out.
all Infiniti cars come with Hydrolic lifts for trunk and hood here in Kuwait standard from the factory ;o thought you guys have that too ;x
We do .... what I was saying the OEM spoiler comes with "Replacement" ones that are stronger than the standard ones. You swap these out as part of the spoiler install.
In that link the OP says the spoilers are not replica's but actual OEM product. But up in this thread someone who got one says it didn't come with the replacement trunk lifters ... sounds a bit fishy. If they are truly Nissan it should have the Nissan printed installation instructions and replacement trunk lifters.
its not supposed to come with trunk lifters. that was a joke. If the spoiler is heavier, its only marginally heavier...not that much to justify brand new lifters
I wish someone would make a more aggressive spoiler...nothing rice or over the top...just a lip spoiler that extends a little higher up than all of these OEM and replica spoilers

Well the Infiniti spoiler does come with them and are spelled out in the installation instructions. Not sure why I'm getting so much crap about it. I'm not debating if it's needed I'm just pointing out that 180 says it's an OEM spoiler but it doesn't come with the lifters so it's clearly not an official Infiniti spolier... that's the only point I'm trying to make.
