Angry Front license plate mount for IPL

Hey so I recently got the IPL front bumper and installed it without a front license plate. This morning I got pulled over by a state trooper for not having the front plate. Just like everyone else I dont want to drill holes and was wondering what alternatives are there. I heard stillen makes a tow hook one which I'm interested in getting. Would this fit the IPL front bumper? If not any other suggestions? I'm not really a fan over the "show-n-go".

Not yet, but I have a poll going in the exterior section to show Stillen how many are interested.

You can always leave the front plate on your passenger side window for the time being. That should be ok with the law, right?

Yup, I did the same thing as Raul but to my sport bumper. Made a custom hole in my lower grill and mounted. Works fantastic! Can even notice it.

I've been toying with the best way of mounting this and was thinking along the same lines...any tips on cutting the mesh cleanly since you've already been through it?

Wont the cop still give you a ticket if you have the motorized plate like Raul does? I mean he'll see you coming with no plate, pulls you over, you turn on the plate, but he would still give you the ticket?

Yes. I keep my plate up for normal driving, and put it down when I want to leave it down when parked or at events. It saves you having to drill holes in the front, visible parts of your bumper.
