looking fo join the family, coming from acura tl

so i currently drive an 06 acura tl. i am thinking of coming over and joining the g37 family. what major things should i keep an eye out for when buying used. i know i want the 6mt g37s. i know i want nav as i have it know and cant go without it. i am looking in the 20-25k price range. how well do these cars respond to mods? what are the pros and cons and what are the issues. here are a couple of pictures of what i currently drive.

Well just like your TL. It is very hard to gain good numbers without going F/I. Most I've seen people get are 30-35 WHP and that is with almost every bolt on there. Well most important thing in buying used is finding the vehicle history. Any accidents or major warranty problems. Is it on the lemon list.

I know I been inside a TL and it does feel very comfortable and one thing you might want to keep in mind is the interior of our cars have a lot of plastic compared to the TL but if you are ok with that then I suggest you look into it =).

Good luck.

what he said.

If you're buying a used 6MT, check and double check the clutch. There's a few in here who's clutches have gone bad at around 30K miles.

Nice TL!

The wife has a 07 TL-S and I have the 09 G37S. Make sure you are happy with the different nav/handsfree interface. I know this is a little off topic but, IMO the acura has a lot better inferface. And dont get me started on the decrease in interior space. Mods, well they have summed them up. Take a careful test drive playing with all the things we tend to take for granted with the steering wheel controls. I will take my G anyday over the wifes TL but there are some things Acura got right and Infiniti could have did better. My $.02

I am not sure what year they started offering NAV, you may not have a lot of years to choose from. Maybe someone can chime in who knows for sure

Well if he is looking for a coupe then G35 sedan 07+ will have the center lcd screen + navi.

Now if he is looking for a coupe it will be 08+ for the center lcd, led screen + navi.
