They must not know how to drive then... On paper the G is just slower than the 335. Sure, the G has 30 more horsepower, but what about the TWIN TURBOs and that TORQUE.
Every situation I've been in I would get smoked when I had my G. And now that I do have a 3 series, I can tell the difference. Honestly, two different worlds.

It's true the 335i is just slight faster than the g37 but not anywhere near fast enough for u to say "different world".. A different world would be comparing a GTR to a E92 M3. The GTR is in a complete different league and can spank any stock BMW. I've own a GTR, ISF and M3 and currently own a G37 and i can say the 335i is only slightly quicker due to the turbos and its weight.

I guess I was exaggerating a bit. But handling and performance wise it's definitely better and faster. I have the 335is and wouldn't compare it to the Infiniti G37. Maybe the IPL, just maybe. (Granted the 335is is almost 20k more than even a G37S).

Also, how do you like the IS-F? And the GT-R must be a beast!
I think my dad might be getting the CLS63 soon, which I can't wait to drive!

Fastest car I've been in has to be the Ford GT. A relative has one with over 800 horespower. He collects exotics (Ferraris, SLS AMG, etc etc).

True that the 335i cost more but used they are actually going for pretty cheap around 20k-25k range then again so is the G37. I didn't like the ISF at all, the handling was horrible even my G37S handles better IMO. The GTR on the other hand was a beast, it's probably the fastest stock car i've driven. The launch control is just insanely quick, can take out a Gallardo easily. I just recently sold the GTR due to my bad drinking habit and to pay off my alcohol lifestyle bills...lol. Plus i also got an DUI 2 months ago which didn't help=/. Speaking of AMG, i was planning picking up this bad boy up but decided not to. If it was in white then i might reconsider, i'm not a fan of black cars at all.

I just read this thread and I want my time back.

Let me get this straight, OP has a 2012 G, he painted the calipers white, the wheels gloss black, launched the car for a whole day, and has been driving around like an azz clown "racing" people. This thread is the epitome of all that sucks.

I have to agree. It's the practicing launching with a half tank of gas all day that ended it for me IMO

Funny, that's what did it for me too. I mean, I have babied and cared for my 08 6mt since I got got her brand new. Someone who would take a brand new ride out and beat on it like that is someone I can't respect. Oh well...

Exactly... I wasn't being jealous when I said the OP sounded immature.

Again, I was lucky enough to be able to have a brand new G37S at 16. And I cared for that car like no other. It was always the cleanest, and I was always the best driver out of my friends. Love that car, and still have SO MUCH respect for the G37.

Guys guys.. take it easy.. I'm new here.. lol.. Seriously It was a Blue 335 automatic.. the guy knew we racing. he tried, just couldnt keep up. We came to a stop, and he asked me if I did anything to the car, I said no its Stick. He gave me a thumbs up, and booked it on the freeway. I know your not supposed to be driving the car fast first 1500 to 2000 miles, but Ive already got 4900, I drive alot so its all good. A buddy of mine told me to do some mods on the car, and drop it, and I'm considering what he said. I just cant seem to figure out how to post a pic up here. let me know how to yeh.

That guy really must not know how to drive. I just can't figure how a stock G37 could beat a stock 335i. Even if the guy was just in D mode. The 335 just has so much torque and then the twin turbos! And having driven both cars. (yes I have the 335is, but I've also been in my friends old 335i coupe).

Good to know that you had already broken the car in, but still, half a day of launches cannot be good for any car. And, as stated, talking about how you street raced isn't the smartest thing...

Lol good entertainment. The video is funny because the G driver is such a dumbass! But that 335 is either not stock, or the G had too many passengers. No way a stock 335i will spank a stock G like that. It is quicker but not by that much!
