Thanks fellas, quite insightful. No reccos for the Audi huh, interesting. The exhaust note on the C63 is amazing! I was driving next to one with my father in the passenger seat and he was turning head several times back and forth b/w me and the C63 lol in complete shock. WHATEVER VASHER U BASTID!!! LOL

Yes, I'm referring to a CPO'd one actually as my local dealer has one but its around 65K so for that, a GTR? Possible? Well I think I'm coupe'd out and want a performance sedan

Will keep you fellas posted but please keep the input coming!

be careful with the 'automatic' talks... E9xx M3's don't have automatics... They have SMG/DCT trannys... whole lot of differences... just saying... I'm ex-e46 m3 SMG owner...

I know the AMG will put quite a financial burden on me (gas, tires, maintenance) but it's a sick sounding and fast car. It's not really comparable to the others I've listed in the subject line but just shootin out to get some opinions here.

These cars will all be fully loaded whilst the AMG has everything but the AMG Developmental Package with low miles (8-10K)

Anyone have any experience with the 335 or Audi in terms of reliability?

I'd go with the AMG... of course Im biased because I have an AMG as well LOL. But even still, of the ones you listed, its the best one.

S4 looks good outside but Audi's suck inside. Also would question reliability.

335 is not even in this class. It must be sitting in for the M3 while it's away, LOL

AMG has a very reliable Engine and the BEST interior with nice styling on the outside. PLus it's a V8. I also think it would be the most reliable.

oh and DaCePtak0n... My choice would be the C63... Absolute raw power... I also saw a white pearl one with red/black interior and carbon fiber spoiler at PDX Auto show this year... Looks super sexy...

My advise, take some time and test drive all three... This way you will personally experience and be able to compare each... At the end of the day, you will be the one driving it and dealing with the consequences (payments, maint, repairs, fuel, speeding tickets, etc...)... LOL...

I'm with you on the AMG engine reliability... I used to have a CLK55 and the engine is solid, not to mention monstrous amounts of torque at any given moment... Plus a friend of mine is an avid racer and told me numerous times that AMG engines are build solid and can take a lot of abuse (I mean spirited driving)....

Vash -

Hows the C63 as a daily driver? Granted my commute is only 3.2 miles one way, I do some decent weekend travelling to DC/MD 2x month.

I don't get her until June, I ordered mine for European Delivery. Even then, I only have her for a few days (don't want to delay shipping any longer than that), then it will be ~6-8 weeks before it reaches my dealer.

I did, however, thoroughly enjoy my test drive.

What I took from it;

Drives civil, but power is incredible and is there without effort.
Ride is a bit smoother than the G.
Corners better.
More room in front and back (coupe).
Feels rock solid, carved from a single piece of granite.
Thigh bolsters are designed for someone larger than 5'5", 135 lbs.

My thighs rest on top of the bolsters. I'm 6'2", 210 (usually ~240, no time for gym this past year). The G is comfortable and the bolsters didn't really bug me until I sat in the C.

It'll make a great dd.

Just do it.

How is the reliability on those models? How does the beast do in the snow?

I'd know for sure i;d have to slap on some snow tires with the 63. Anxious Vash, saw a CPO 2009 with 20K miles, all options except P030 about 20 miles from me so gonna check it out this weekend...

I believe the C63 AMG engine has direct injection, which would make it susceptible to carbon buildup in the engine, so there's that reliability/durability concern.
