thanks for the compliments everyone. I love the camera also, however i wish i opted for the 18-200mm lens instead, i don't like having to carry lens around so the 18-200mm would be a great walkaround lens. Then again, i don't know anything about lens since i'm a newbie.

Nice first shoots. Keep in mind you will need a flash with a diffuser for indoor pictures, it will help bringing out the details. Lenses are the best investment your going to make, especially since you can upgrade the camera body in the future and use the same lenses. (of course only if you buy the same brand body Canon, Nikon..etc)
If you can get a lens with 2.8 f stop it will give you help with sharpness, exposure etc before processing.
Last but not least , if you bought your camera new it should have come with some photo software, learn to use that as well, you could do amazing fixes and bring out details with good photo software (urhhmmm ...Photoshop)

not really, if anything i might get a intake to improve the sound. I'm actually thinking of selling it because i put way too many miles on it, i got the car less then 6 months ago with 65k miles and it now has 97k miles. I travel roughly 140 miles to and from work and sometimes i take 2 trips so that's almost 300 miles a day.
