New 'washi' door grip trim installed! :)

So my original door grip trims were scratches up and had some small dents and that was bothering me... Pretty bad eyesore...

I bought the upgraded "washi" from ebay (Circle Infiniti). Top notch seller, I received them w/in 3 days after purchase.... Installed tonight and they look great!!!

Link for anyone wanting to buy a set:
OEM INFINITI G37 COUPE DOOR GRIP CAPS L & R UPGRADE | eBay

Was cheap, $69.95 + $10 for S+H.

Install was extremely easy...

1. Small screwdriver (wrapped the tip with duct tape to prevent scratches)
2. Start from the bottom, pry up, then use finger to remove... A little pulling, about 5-10 seconds, and whola! they are off...
3. Install new one, start from the top, align the little hook, snap, snap... DONE!

All in all, took less than 5 min (including prep time and etc). Great mod, looks very nice and the color is almost same as the rest of the trim... Highly recommend for those who haven't done this yet (I know alot of you have already)...

Took a pic with my iphone... Not the best quality because it's dark, but you can get an idea... I'll try taking a better pic in daylight...

Nice. I need to do this since the previous owner of my car seemed to have gone mad and started stabbing the grips with an ice pick.

Same here!!! LOL... The right side had like 3 or 4 deep puncture holes... Why, why, why?? LOL...

I'm pretty satisfied with how the washi trim look...

Yeah, taking the off was super easy... You will need to put a little force, so make sure your face is out of the way... LOL... No nose bleeds...

and carbon fiber... I've seen a few pics of complete trim wrap, and looks VERY nice... BTW, when you are done, post pics PLEASE!!!

I just hate scratched up interior because its such an eyesore every time you're in the car...

I got mine from the dealer (the ebay seller is Circle Infiniti), so I would say they are your best bet if you want a brand new one... You can always try posting here to see if anyone can sell you one... All depends if you want a new or used one...

I need the door trim where the memory seats are too. The girl before me must have loved to slam her purse or something right in this spot..

Car is a 2010, so maybe the dealer will replace under warranty?
