Found a low mileage 2008 G37S. How much to pay/negotiate?

I think you are setting yourself up trying to do it via email and long distance. What is to stop the dealer from starting the negotiation over once you show up in person, when he knows you are already investing your time and money in travel expenses and will feel more pressure to wrap up a sale? Are there not any G's in New Orleans or Baton Rouge areas???

Just say no!!!!!

^^Any successful phone/online negotiations should conclude with a signed sales order. Signed by the sales manager that is. This document should break out the price of the car, all taxes, fees, etc. The final number *SHOULD* be what you will be paying for the car. If the dealer then attempts to change these numbers, I don't think a judge would find it in their favor..

Offer the dealer $25,500 including dealer doc fees, take or leave it. Let them know that is your final price, and you will find a different car if they don't honor that price. Give them a $2k deposit over the phone, and a time you will be in to sign paperwork and close the deal. If instead they say no to $25,500, be prepared to walk away, telling them to call you if they later wish to give you your price and you will buy it if you haven't already purchased another from someone else.

Seems like they only dropped about 3-4K in value for one with 30-40K miles and they have been out for almost 4 years now.

They have different values in different places around the country.
I can assure you they haven't appreciated, though coupes definitely don't depreciate as fast as the sedan.

I just bought a 2008 g37 MT with 33k miles fully loaded with stillen exhaust and intake for $27.6k. Another $900 for 3yr warranty so $28.5k. $31.5k OTD.
Prices vary depending where you are. I bought in San Francisco bay area, and this was on the low end of available inventory...
