Anyone else tired of the "turbo build" chest thumping promises???
Wasn't meant as an insulting comment, (and by no means pointing out anyone individually), just stated my opinion. I am not a fan of taking a classy car that looks great the way it is, and slamming it down on 20" wheels, with horrible suspension geometry to boot. I am more performance orientated, then looks. There ARE some well done G's on this site also yes, without going overboard.

If you think I wont turbo this build, then you know nothing about my history with forced induction over the past 16 years. So, you think I won't set mine up similar to Coops or Albert's? Want to hold me up to that at all?

One of my current daily drivers, makes over 725hp, and has well over 40K into it. I have already made up my mind, I would like to build a little nicer (classier, and better manufactured)vehicle, with a great interior, so this is what I am going to do...... Thanks for your feed back.

Up here in New England, there's FAR less NICE G's on the lots, and prices tend to be a little higher than the West or down South. Winters are harsh, and drivers are horrible on vehicles. This is why the black 09 seems very clean with low mileage. I may go down tomorrow to take a peek at it and see what happens.

Again, my apologies to anyone that may have been personally offended @ my comment.

RWD G's actually have a really bad re-sale value in the Northeast because of the snow. The market is really soft. Especially during the winter. I saw one at George Harte Infiniti in CT, 09' Prem/Nav/Sport 21k miles for $24,500 certified

I would have loved to see that. I would buy it tomorrow if a dealer had something like that. You never see that up here. Within a 100 mile range, that car at any dealer (especially Infiniti) would be closer to $29-30,000.00

FWIW, slim pickins out here in Oregon too. Rarely see 6mts for sale. Mine was basically the only one in the area. I wanted a white 6mt, but the closest one (5 hours away) had the stone interior and 11k more miles for the same price.

I hate being patient when it comes to these things.

The 09's should be showing up quite a bit more in the next 2-3 months. If I could only wait that long.

AutoTrader search for 2009's with my desired options and price: 3

2008's............................................ ....................................424!!!!!!

I agree... not worth it. Better to wait a little more and find one that is better equipped and leaves you with more money for mods.

This one is KILLING me.....

It's absolutely stunning, but the price seems to be about 1000-1500.00 high. They claim it is very rare, and there inst another like it in such condition anywhere.

I just bought mine about 2 weeks ago, and paid $23k for it in SoFla.. Clean title, not even fender benders, 08 red G37S 6spd, 29k miles, pretty much everything but the sat nav, but phones work well now a days. If you are looking to go fast why not buy something smaller light weight, and that will cost a lot less to build. I did that same thing, got the g37 to daily around, while I finish building my little turbo toyota to 400whp, for a fraction of the cost to mod a luxury sports car

It doesn't matter what you mod, it all comes out to big money in the long run. I have close to $40,000.00 into my 725hp Mustang (driven daily during summer/fall) that is driven to the track 70 miles each way, and run in the 10's @ over 136mph. This car is being sold this wekeend.

I have already done the lighten things up, and spend a few hundred thousand thing on modifying Amercian muscle over the past 17 years.....

Tired of American quality. So when and if I finally do a FI setup on my new G, it will be perfectly streetable, and the exterior will remain stock.

Spending $13,000.00 for a total FI setup package, in and out the door is cake.

Well in your case, I guess that will come out pretty sweet. I still have to play with smaller power with my budget, but if you have that, bet you could get some nice FI going. But still could find much better deals out there then $27+k imo.

The one u linked for 32k? Still nice and low miles if thats it. Let me know how the modding goes, mine is the red 08 hehe. But i really want to leave it all bone stock, with just a drop and some coils, and just worry bout going faster in the other car. Too afraid of breaking something in the G and paying an arm and a leg
