Does this look like an 09' G37 S to you?
2009 Used Infiniti G37 Coupe 2dr Sport RWD at Boston Foreign Motor Serving Allston, MA, IID 7576497
The only thing I notice, is the heated seat controls are flat rockers, not *****.... Every other 2009 I have seen have rotation *****......
It also states "Premium package" which is obviously not there.........

How does that drivers seat not have the butt bubble!
The only 2009 thing that I see are the washi door grips, but anyone could have added those.
Looks like an 08 to me.

The seat does look MINT..... Fat people is what crush/bubble leather seats. Maybe the previous owner was under 170lbs.

Don't blame the seats, blame the fatties who squash the damn things.

It's not incorrect about the seats. The heavier the driver, the more it stretches the leather. This happens with ALL vehicles. I have monitored it over the past 20 years. My bud is 5'9 and about 260lbs. All of his leather seats in his vehicles over the past 20 years have looked horrible after 20K miles or so. These cars seats don't take so the excess weight well over time.

Some interesting reads for you, seat bubbling related, I believe the majority are under 170lbs

The vin comes back as an 09. From the carfax, looks like it was made in late '08, so perhaps the seat heater switches were changed midcycle for 09's?

Is is going to have the "Soft paint" issues? Hmm......

I think the round switches have more than 2 positions (3 or 4 that I can recall). Also, I think the placement of these suck. They should go somewhere on the center console, not be near the shifter (on the 6mt).
No idea on the paint. From what I've read here, all infiniti paint is soft
My 2012 was actually built late 10/2011, sold as a 2012. I guess some years from now if/when I go to sell it, there might be some confusion if it's a 2011 or 2012 model.

I'm 6'2" 260ish and I have had my G since late '07 and have been the sole driver for its 76K miles. No seat bubble. So there goes your fat guy theory. Some developed the issue very early on even with small drivers. Some, like mine, didn't even with big people in them.
No issues that I'm aware of with the rocker switches. I think they were just a style change.
Most Japanese cars ahave soft paint nowadays, I don't kmow that the 08 is any worse than subsequent years. The 09(?) had the scratch shiled paint that got mixed reviews.

Yep. Im 150lbs and got (2) seat bubbles on my driver seat and my 2011 only has 1900 miles!
Go figure. I dont know if it worth taking it in and having the dealer replace it.
I have seen pictures of peoples leather coming back worse than it was (installed badly)
I know the 07-08 G sedans on the plastic panel that housed the window switches had a weird paint/vinyl finish and with time and heat it would scratch of very easily.
Leaving the white plastic surface showing through. In the 09's and up it is now textures plastic which is much better!

Mine just rolled over 1000 miles. The driver seat shows some bubble development. I'm middle of the road weight wise . If you think about it, a larger person's weight is distributed over a larger area compared to a skinny light weight individual (how's that for a PC statement). I won't be making any claims about it unless the foam underneath begins to collapse.
