It is the adhesive under the leather coming undone.

Wonder if materials were cut down due to costs after the earthquake?

The only thing I notice, is the heated seat controls are flat rockers, not *****.... Every other 2009 I have seen have rotation *****......

It also states "Premium package" which is obviously not there.........

Ours did it while the wife was primary driver............she's 105#. I am not a heavy wieght either at 170#. Our drivers seat has the bubble.................

The seat does look MINT..... Fat people is what crush/bubble leather seats. Maybe the previous owner was under 170lbs.
This is not accurate. I bought my 08' G with 13K miles and it had the famous "bubble." After some bickering with the dealer, I had a new seat put in. Bubble came back 2 months later with vengeance. Now I have the same bubble and a "mini" bubble right next to it. At this point, I don't really care. It's a defect in mechanics inside the seat with the beams I believe.

I am shocked that the seat is relatively flat though with no visual bump in that sales ad for the G. I have yet to see 1 G without the bubble other than that picture.

PS: By the way, I am 6ft. tall and 189 lbs. I tend to believe I'm fit like a champion so there goes your fat theory. Just saying....

So it's a salvage title and they used some 2008 parts when fixing the interior? Way, way too expensive for a salvage title IMHO...

It might be an 09 because the heated seat switch you guys are looking at are blank switches in one of the photos. It doesnt seem to have navigation so I i dont think it has premium package which i think added the heated seat feature to the car.

Your right.... They are blank switches...

UGH... Not even heated seats... Talk about a stripper model....

(Not that I would drive it in winter anyway though..)

This man deserves a prize. I don't often see a G without the premium package so who woulda thought.

Looks like it is a lightly driven 09 6mt.

Funny thing about the heated seats, I never use them. My wife loves them though.
